RevOpsforce

Content strategy, website UX and copywriting and positioning for a growing RevOps consulting firm

Overview
RevOpsforce is a RevOps consulting firm that helps high-growth potential companies plan, implement and succeed with a RevOps growth strategy.

The goal of this project was to build out RevOpsforce’s visual brand, strategize and develop a more robust and detailed splash page, and conduct keyword and competitive research to build a foundation and plan for future growth.

The project team included myself throughout many phases, a UX Designer leading the site architecture and design phases, and a developer leading this phase.

Keyword research and competitive analysis

RevOpsforce succeded through a deep connection with a private equity group which remains strong but was seeking organic growth outside of this referral partner and in new select markets where RevOps provides immense value to other organizations.

We started with keyword and competitive research to create a target list of keywords—many future-looking as this was the first full iteration of the RevOpsforce website.

In the next iteration of the website, we’ll be building out a more robust site architecture which will be directly influenced by this initial keyword research.

Splash page strategy and user experience

As we finished the kickoff call and an additional discovery call, I prepared a site architecture and content outline for the initial splash page we created. This was instrumental in meeting a very tight timeline as it married the outline of the splash page from top to bottom with real (yet still placeholder) copy. We were able to meet, gather feedback and make quick revisions in this outline document that allowed us to skip a formal wireframing exercise.

The UX Designer was able to produce visual brand deliverables in tandem with my leading the site architecture and content outline, and was more quickly able to jump into preparing a full visual design prototype of the splash page.

Copywriting and positioning

Based on RevOpsforce unique story, I wrote the content, key messaging and positioning for the splash page which required a few small rounds of feedback and edits from the RevOpsforce team. Some of the copy seen above came from a key leadership team member.
